Efflorescence inhabits the moment when possibility blooms into full presence. Inspired by the calla lily in full bloom, the vessel opens without hesitation, its form carrying confidence through expansion, unfolding and unapologetically taking up space. Through the rhythms of nature, the work reflects on the sensuality of confident womanhood, femininity as something deeply embodied. The three vessels form a cycle, seed to bloom to vestige, Tylen's reflection on womanhood through the rhythms of nature.

About the Abundance & Decay Collection

For this collection, we invited our artists to create objects exploring the moment when the exuberant growth of summer begins its slide into the decay of autumn, the friction between the heavy, nectar-filled bloom and the curling, brown edge of the leaf, and the transformative energy found in seasons of transition.
