A handmade aluminum armchair adorned with shells collected from the beaches of Italy. The shells are placed individually across the metal frame, each one gathered by hand along the Adriatic coast. The chair is part of the Frutti di Mare collection, which took over six years to develop.

During long winters near the sea, designers Alexander Kanygin and Anna Druzhinina of Touch With Eyes amassed boxes of shells without knowing what they would become. The question was always how to preserve their beauty, and this collection is the answer. The duo works out of a mobile studio, traveling across Europe and sourcing materials directly from the natural world around them.
