The taller Double Take, its two sets of eyes drawn into a speckled tan body. Hand-built by Lex Pavone under her moniker La Viva Verde, each face sculpted individually in high grog stoneware. Her anthropomorphic vessels draw on ancient art, and the slow build is deliberate, bringing intention into every step. Though elaborate, the pieces are meant for everyday life; Pavone hopes their use inspires ritual, a moment to notice how sacred the ordinary is.
