Â
A paper table lamp that nods to the mid-century cocoon lamps, which were made by spinning synthetic fibers over steel wire frames. This one has no internal frame. The paper is built up over a thick, rounded form, which is removed once the fibers are strong enough to hold their shape. Dried, pressed flowers go in near the end while the pulp is still wet, so their natural color bleeds slightly into the paper.
