Satinwood marquetry depicting classical figures is inlaid into the wood arms of this Biedermeier-style box sofa. Floral banding runs along the front rail, and the straight-lined, structured frame echoes the restrained formality of early nineteenth-century European furniture. The kind of piece that would have lived in a parlor or a grand hallway, and still carries that today. 

Features gold striped upholstery with burgundy cord trim and matching bolster pillows. Vintage/used condition with imperfections and general wear to the upholstery.
