This sculptural vessel from Canadian artist Karen Quirion draws from her ongoing exploration of flowers in all their stages—from root to bloom to decay. The textured stoneware surface shifts between cream and tan tones, creating a two-tone effect that catches light differently throughout the day.

Quirion is a self-taught ceramicist with a background in fashion design and a long-held love of brutalist architecture. All her pieces are hand-built through coiling, pinching, and slab-building techniques, exploring the tension between rigidity and organic form.
