A wall-mounted sculptural shelf carved in the form of a snail, available in three sizes and custom shapes. Gracey's grandmother claimed she would be reincarnated as a snail, and though she said many things that were only half true, the image stuck. The words snail, shell, scale, and shelf all share the same etymological root: SKAL, meaning protective space. Like snail shells themselves, which grow layer by layer with their history written on their backs, each shelf is built with the same patience and material attention.
