Ménard, a Barcelona-based artist with a background in fashion and jewelry design, brings her signature delicate touch to the blown glass base. The shade, created from plant-based polylactic acid (PLA) derived from corn starch, is locally sourced and non-toxic. By contrasting materials, function, and form, Les Précieuses becomes an object of movement, memory, and illumination that transforms everyday lighting into sculptural art.
