A large carved giltwood mirror in the Baroque manner, the central plate bordered by divided glass panels in the parclose way and crowned with a carved crest. At over five feet tall it holds the wall above a console or mantel on its own. The gilding has softened into the warm, rubbed gold that only comes with age.
