A sculpted bloom sits atop a bottle-shaped body patterned in loose floral marks. One of Amy Rosen's Garden Friends, the series that started when an image of flower tops came to her in the middle of the night and she built one the next morning. "I love when my pieces make me smile and or laugh," she says. Rosen works between clay and abstract expressionism in the Hudson Valley.
