HOLIDAY ENTERTAINING

Featuring Janie Kruse Garnett for LES

Holiday

When the weather gets cold, my entertaining style evolves to suit the mood. I trade in my bright neutrals for a moody palette. I love a dark backdrop with pops of aubergine and crimson. Bronze tabletop accessories with a living patina are, of course, a must.  Janie Kruse Garnett's first tabletop collection for LES Collection is the perfect addition. The pieces, made from raw bronze with diamond and rock crystal accents, were formed by hand using the lost wax casting method. Countless hours of labor and attention go into each piece. Hand polished with a strié finish and locally cast in NYC, this collection is utterly unique.

Along with my bronze accessories, I love a mix of hues, patterns, and materials. For napkins, I opt for raw linen in a dark color. For plates, I like to mix and match sets, so nothing is too matchy-matchy.
