STYLE GUIDE: SCALLOPS
When craving a minimalistic and simple space, we need few excuses to stray from the classic and naturalistic tones to complete it. But these days, infusing a space with small hints of texture and movement are what take a design to another level. With this, let's take a look at scallops. Whether they are lining a bathroom counter, a headboard, the slight curve in a ceiling, or on the edge of a chair, scallops allow for detail and intimacy in an otherwise texture-less space. Large or small, scallops are able to exist in any kind of space due to the various emotions that can emit depending on the color or size. Endless possibilities allow scallops to be playful, opulent, stern, or magical through texture and finish. While we'll always love a minimalist moment, a subtle scallop will transform any space to being one of a kind. Check out the images we're pinning to our mood boards below.
