Jenny Rice

Jenny Rice is a ceramicist whose art involves the meditative process of coil building, while allowing gravity to affect each form in a spontaneous way. The piece develops as an unprompted movement, sometimes an anthropomorphic gesture. When treating the surface she exercises more intention, creating a balance in the process.
