Untitled is a black charcoal drawing by artist Kristin Yezza. While Kristin's past releases have been purely ceramic, the catalyst of her artistic practice was her drawing and collage work. 

"When I returned to art, I started with collage and then moved into-three dimensional sculpture. Like almost everything I've created, the collage pieces came to be because I was looking for a piece for my home and couldn't find what I wanted, so I decided to make it myself. I wanted an oversized piece of art in my dining room, so I decided to take these smaller moonflower sketches that I had been doing and blow them up. At the heart of things, I am drawn to the idea of building - being able to add, take away, cut things up,  and stick them back together until I find what I'm looking for. I'm a trial and error person. I work with clay and plaster the same way, and collage is merely a two-dimensional representation of the same process. The collages all carry that same thread of experimentation, where I just go with the creative flow until I land on 'it'."
