Two Souls is a one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptural duo by Ukrainian artist Aleksandra Krasnopolska. The first pair of sculptures from the artist's Pure series, Krasnopolska says of the piece: "It is very simple to feel if you are with the right person". Pure is a laconic collection of sculptures demonstrating Krasnopolska's exploration of the compositions of abstracted organic forms, the search for harmony through bare and simplified forms, and subtle allusions to the forms of the human body.

Krasnopolska's sculptures are biomorphic, seeming to shift and slide as you walk around them. The sculptures are made using a process that the artist refers to as "intuitive modeling." As a result, every piece is a form of meditation. Krasnopolska often visits the beach to watch the water, the birds, and the clouds. These experiences, along with the antique furniture and gilded mirrors she encounters on her travels, inform her sculptures and ceramics. "Nature is the best painter and sculptor; I will learn from it all my life," she says.
