Pink Narcissus IV is a ceramic vessel from Gianfranco Briceño's Narciso Collection, inspired by the 1970 film Pink Narcissus. The film is a modern interpretation of the myth of Narcissus, the son of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. Narcissus was distinguished for his beauty but was cursed for rejecting the love of the nymph Echo. He fell in love with his reflection in the water, pined away, and drowned.

Each piece in the series was formed using the pinch pot technique, where the vases are molded without tools, rendering each entirely unique. Each vessel is watertight and comes with a signed keepsake box.

Briceño is a Peruvian ceramicist, sculptor, painter, and photographer based in São Paulo, Brazil. He uses themes of masculinity and sexuality in his photography, ceramics, painting, and sculpture.
