Golden Iron is a one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptural vessel by Lex Pavone. Hand-formed, the character-driven piece is ceramic with a black iron wash finished with gold pigment inlay detailing.

Lex, who works under the moniker La Viva Verde, imbues her work with an ethereal grace seen in every nuanced face her hands form. Inspired by ancient art, La Viva Verde's trademark design features anthropomorphic vessels with human faces of different decoration and style. Each piece is hand-built and every face hand-sculpted and unique. This process allows creation to slow down, bringing intention into every level of the design process. Although La Viva Verde's ceramic works are elaborate, they are meant to be used in everyday life.
