Playful, whimsical, and magical are all perfect words to describe the world of Kristin Yezza. Working out of her basement studio in Shaker Heights, Ohio, she compares her creative mindset to that of an explorer. "In this world where most everything has been explored, and google has all the answers, maybe the best thing you can do is explore your own self. That's where all the newness is." Yezza works with a Myriad of mediums, including clay, plaster, paper, and charcoal. Her series Doodles are just that, doodles out of Yezza's magical imagination sculpted in clay.
