brut candleholder is a hand-built terracotta stoneware candlestick holder by Artist Asterisque, featuring a whimsical white wing handle on its side. Asterisque's hand-built forms result from the artist's personal journey, beginning on the Spanish shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Highly influenced by textures, the pieces have a rough surface reminiscent of natural rock formations found by the sprawling oceanside. The work seeks an organic geometry with its earth-inspired color palette.
